Establishing herself all on her own, as she grew up being an orphan and being passed into foster homes, she realized early in her life that she only had herself to rely on.With her skills in arts and intelligence, she was always able to attain scholarships to help her finish her education. After graduating, she took part in the aviation industry to generate a bigger income to invest in her passions. Prologue : The wilted past

Being a subject to gossip meant two things and her controversial birth sparked whispers that she is the daughter of the rumored witch. The moon was full when the silence of the night heard her cries. Poor little girl, for she is condemned right from the very start as she carries the blood of a forbidden love, the amalgamation of heaven and hell; the offspring of a child of the devil.Her birthplace was known to be a breeding ground for the supernaturals. Mothers would usher their children home before dusk befalls, trinkets and amulets would be worn by the little ones to protect them, and warnings would be given to tourists that would arrive at their dock. The mysterious maid of the Hidalgos incited suspicions to the ton as it was said that she grew up in the misty mountains, now orphaned, and was left to fend off for herself. Unbeknownst to them, the secret that she kept was a love that was fated to end in a tragedy. A love that did not conform and defied the norms of society.The wealthy bachelor of the Hidalgos serenaded her into a love so passionate their entanglement bore fruit to a child that will be known as Eleonor Giulia. Being influential, it was already known that their family owned most of the island. Once the couple confessed, they vehemently condemned their relationship and refused to acknowledge their child as well. The elder Hidalgos decided to split the couple apart, sending Matías back to Spain and casting young Salome out of town.A swarm of unfortunate events was then casted to the rural land. Fueled with superstitious belief and the sermóns of the church, they blamed the strikes of calamity to the innocent woman who has barely experienced the joys of motherhood.Eleonor Giulia was then raised by the same church that drove her mother to her doom. Every step that she took as she grew up was followed with whispers and unpleasant remarks. As she snuck in the eerie halls of the old building, holding the forbidden book, a grimoire, a familiar voice resisted.Eleonor could only watch, eyes horrified at the sight of one of her closest friends taken inside the chambers of the church. Her lips were sealed silent as she feared for whatever the elders would do not until the news of her friend's death sent a whiplash to her consciousness.As flowers bloomed, so is her thirst for vengeance. Fury was in her eyes that day as she set the old building on fire, burning the people inside. THE CUTS WERE TOO DEEP. Now known as Adraesteia Greige, the rotten filmmaker, is living peacefully with the passion that grew alongside her through the years. The past haunts her but it has long been lost as she took in another identity, a woman whose roots are to be unknown.After escaping, the orphaned girl got passed around foster homes. Eleonor knew that she only had herself, so she picked up the pieces she had left and burnt the midnight oil to receive numerous scholarships from universities. A prestige college in the busy streets of Taft opened its doors for her where she studied Bachelor of Arts in Film. Nights were long as she juggled being a call center agent and a student but the lass managed to finish her degree with flying colors.Her desire to see more of the world led her to train to become a flight attendant. After years in the industry, she expands her wings to work as part of the admin of the airline and obtain her flying license. This gives her enough to invest on properties and have a small business tucked away in Tagaytay.Adraesteia only provides what she wants people to see. To them, she is a successful young woman who has reached stability in her life and is working multiple jobs due to her having an array of hobbies and skills. Her life has built her to be that way but now, she doesn’t merely survive off some scraps and exploitation. These days, she gets busy with writing screenplays and capitalizing her hobbies with a bottle of wine every now and then. For her, this is already enough. She is a woman of her own.
